Why we don't write reviews

Most "best paddle" articles are written by people who haven't hit a paddle in months — or have, but were paid to say nice things. We built Pickleball Paddy differently.

Every claim on this site is sourced from manufacturer-published spec sheets, the USA Pickleball approved equipment list, and the PPA / APP equipment registries. No "I tested this and felt..." — just objective specs you can verify yourself.

We make recommendations through tools, not personal opinions. The Picker Quiz matches you to paddles based on your stated needs vs. each paddle's stated specs. The DNA Matcher finds spec-similar alternatives. The Banned Tracker tells you what's tournament-legal. That's it.

Why this matters: Google's review-content classifier (HCU 2024+) increasingly down-ranks affiliate sites that fake first-hand experience. Real testers like Pickleball Studio (Chris Olson) and Pickleball Effect do hands-on reviews. We do something different — and complementary — by giving you the spec data and tools to compare across the market.
